Select the Page or Collection

In this case, I want to generate a Secret URL so that I can share a new page I've created called "My storybook page" with my tutor. Under the drop-down Portfolio menu, I select "Shared by me" and then I can see a list of all my pages and collections. I look for the page I want to share, and click the Secret URL button in the right column of the row in which my page is listed - the button looks like a little pencil.

If you want to share pages you've added to a collection, create the Secret URL for the whole collection, not the pages in the collection.

Add and Copy the URL

Next, I'll see this page. I'll click the "Add" button and this will generate the URL which will look something (but not exactly) like this:

http://ep.unisa.edu.au/view/view.php?t=Z8r2OxJSMz9sBb7nWgot (example only!)

I can then select or highlight that URL with my mouse and copy it (Ctrl+C on the keyboard or right-click and "copy").

My tutor has asked me to paste the URL into a discussion forum post in my learnonline course site, so now I can go into learnonline, create a new post and paste it in.
